Deacon Andy has been the Director of Information Systems & Technology for the Archdiocese of Mobile for the past 9 years. Prior to that, he spent 12 years as the Chief Technology Officer for an international agricultural equipment company. Deacon Andy holds degrees in History (University of South Alabama), Pastoral Theology (University of St. Thomas, Houston, TX), and a Master of Science in Information Systems (University of Alabama at Birmingham). He also currently serves as the Associate Director of the Permanent Diaconate for Hispanic Formation in the Archdiocese of Mobile.

The Archdiocese of Mobile has been onboarding with Ministry Platform for the last 18 months, and at the end of October will have 74 parishes (approximately 120,000 Catholics) using the Platform. The range of parishes encompasses the lower half of Alabama. with urban, suburban, and rural parishes and missions of all types, sizes, and demographics.

Deacon Andy has a passion of enabling parishes and ministries to use technology to further reach God's people, with a special focus on building up smaller parishes with tools to improve their reach to the local community through communications, social media marketing, and technology upgrades. Ministry Platform has been an instrumental piece in the mission of his office to provide technology for the building up of the Kingdom of God.
