General Conference Questions

The MinistrySmart Conference is a three-day hybrid training event that offers software training for our ACST platforms, including Realm, Realm Accounting, MinistryPlatform, ACS, ACS Financials, and PDS.

The MinistrySmart Conference is a training conference and is tailored to accommodate product users with diverse skill sets and abilities. Make sure to review the Agenda and delve into the "More Info" descriptions of the session breakouts to determine if the content aligns with your needs and interests.

Conveniently located near the Charlotte Airport, The Harris Center provides ample parking and easy access to our conference facilities. Many of the local hotels also offer shuttle services to and from the airport and within a local radius of their properties.

The day before the general conference (Oct 8th) we will offer full-day, intensive training classes on MinistryPlatform, Realm, Realm Accounting, and ACS Financials. Topics for each product can be found on the Agenda page in the "More Info". 

The Realm and Realm Accounting Boot Camps cater to newcomers looking to kickstart their journey or seeking a refresher in using these products.

The MinistryPlatform Boot Camps are tailored specifically for MinistryPlatform User SPoCs.

The ACS Financials Boot Camp is ideal for seasoned users seeking to deepen their expertise in ACS Financials.

October 8th (in-person only):

The first day will offer all-day Boot Camps for Realm, Realm Accounting, ACS Financials, and Ministry Platform (User SPoCs). Boot Camps are a full-day course with in-depth training on your software. Boot Camp tickets can be purchased individually or in the combo package.

The general conference will be October 9th and 10th, featuring over 50 breakout training classes, ranging from beginner to advanced levels for Realm, Realm Accounting, MinistryPlatform (User SPoCs), ACS, ACS Financials and PDS.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. Should you find yourself unable to attend the MinistrySmart Conference 2024, we will offer a refund under the following conditions:

  1. Requests to cancel on or before September 9, 2024, will receive a full refund.  Requests to cancel from September 10 - October 3 are eligible for a refund minus a 25% administration fee. Requests made from October 4 or beyond are not eligible for a refund, credits to your account, or balances to your account.
  2. Refund requests can be submitted via email at msconference@acst.com. They must include relevant details such as the ticket order number, event details, and reason for the refund request (feel free to attach your receipt if this is easier).
  3. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 15 business days of approval.
  4. Please note that we will allow you to transfer a fully paid ticket to another registrant up to 1 time. The transfer must be submitted in writing and sent to msconference@acst.com.

We strive to provide exceptional customer service and appreciate your understanding regarding our refund procedures. If you have any questions or require further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our MinistrySmart Team.

If you have registered and paid for your ticket you can submit a request for substitution of another person on your team by emailing msconference@acst.com.

All attendees both virtual and in-person will be limited to the sessions they attend based on the sessions they choose in the session picker during registration. For in-person attendees, your session choice reserves your seat in that classroom which is subject to capacity limitations. 

 Recordings are included in the Virtual Bundle and available for purchase to in-person attendees during the registration process. If you are not attending Conference via Live Stream or in-person you can purchase recordings separately using the registration link.  

Access to slide decks will not be available. 

In-Person/ Lodging Conference Questions

In-person attendees can choose from a variety of hotels near the Harris Center in Charlotte. Most hotels offer shuttle services to the venue and provide transportation to and from the airport. We recommend booking early to secure a room at your preferred location.

 The Embassy Suites has sold out of our block of rooms with our negotiated rates, but still have rooms available outside of our special rate.

We encourage all attendees to dress comfortably yet respectfully for others at the conference. 

If you have a laptop that you can use to follow along in your system you are welcome to do so. You will have wifi access at the conference center.

Conference Room Information

All meals will automatically have a gluten free option. The conference center can only accommodate allergies to nuts and/or shellfish. If you have another allergy it's recommended you bring your own prepared meal.

Virtual Conference Questions

The MinistrySmart Conference Virtual option gives you virtual access to live sessions during the general Conference (Boot Camps are not streamed.) Streamed sessions will include Realm, MinistryPlatform, ACS People, and PDS.  With this bundle you will also get access to all session recordings. 

When you register for the Virtual Package you will have opportunity to attend the sessions you wish to attend. After registration you will receive a confirmation e-mail.

One week before the Conference, all virtual registrants will receive another e-mail with a link to the Conference Event Hub. 

The two General Conference Days, October 9-10, are streamed for Realm, MinistryPlatform, ACS People, and PDS breakout sessions. 

All you need is a computer or other device with access to reliable internet.

You will receive e-mail instructions of how to access your virtual sessions prior to the conference. Instructions will be sent out by October 1st. 

Conference Recording Questions

Recordings are included in the Virtual Bundle and available for purchase to in-person attendees during the registration process. If you are not attending Conference via Live Stream or in-person you can purchase recordings separately using the registration link.  

Recorded product training sessions on October 9-10 will be part of the recording package.
